Marie-Fleur Agema, known as Fleur Agema, was born on 16 September 1976 in Purmerend, Netherlands. She is a Dutch politician and former spatial designer. She is a member of the Party for Freedom (PVV).
From 2 July 2024 to 3 June 2025, Fleur Agema served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands and as Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport in the Schoof cabinet, under Prime Minister Dick Schoof. Before that, Fleur Agema was a Member of the House of Representatives from 30 November 2006 until July 2024.
Early Life and Education
Fleur Agema grew up in Monnickendam and Wormerveer. Her parents worked in the hospitality business. She studied arts and design, earning:
