Eligibility Requirements

Admission to a Master’s program at the University of Pittsburgh, specifically in one of these schools:

> Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH)

> Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA)

> School of Law

> School of Education

> School of Nursing

> Hold an undergraduate degree

> Demonstrate strong English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing)

> Preference for early- to mid-career professionals working in practitioner or policy roles

Note: The fellowship does not support basic academic research, sabbaticals, or medical research

Fellowship Commitments

> Fellows must deliver at least one presentation related to their professional background during their time at the university.

> Community engagement is encouraged, including lectures about the fellow’s home country to local audiences.

> Fellows agree to complete the full fellowship duration. Leaving early without permission may require repayment of funds.

> Upon completion, fellows submit a final report outlining their fellowship activities and how they will apply their experience back home.

> Successful fellows receive a certificate from the University of Pittsburgh.
